Artist Ingrid Davids (Ter Apel, the Netherlands, 1986) is a contemporary sculptor of the Objet Trouvé.

The found object, is central to her practice. She collects lost, discarded and broken materials and transforms them into contemporary sculptures and assemblages. In her work she searches for beauty in decay. By observing, rearranging and translating these objects she explores how they can tell their own unique stories, often in a poetic and anecdotal way. Her work can be seen as artefacts or archaeological findings from a different place and time.
